CO, CO2 and NOx emissions cut by up to 97% and fuel use by 60% in 4 hour generator tests using X-Carbon
January 9, 2025
Laboratory tests using X-Carbon on a generator over 4 hours resulted in a massive reduction in its emissions and 60% less fuel used.

In December 2024 this report was published, comparing emissions and fuel consumption before using X-Carbon and while using X-Carbon on a 2009 1500rpm generator over a series of 4 hours with a constant load. It demonstrates the true impact of X-Carbon and how effective X-Carbon is in reducing emissions and fuel economy.

Fuel use cut by 60%

Carbon Monoxide emissions cut by up to 97% (average 84%)

Laboratory testing shows the clean results with all variables measured and consistent. Whereas tests outside a laboratory have their challenges as many variables affect the consistency of the results. For vehicles it can be driving style, load, type of journey (urban, motorway), average speed, maintenance, weather, terrain, etc. For generators they need to be run at a steady optimum loading for their size to minimise the variations in results.

Carbon Dioxide cut by up to 95% (average 77%)
Nitrogen Oxides emissions cut by up to 64% (average 31%)

These results demonstrate that X-Carbon should play an important role in improving fuel efficiency while cutting emissions, helping in the drive towards Net Zero.

Note: Tests were undertaken by RunGreen International's partner in an independent laboratory using Oxytane/X-Carbon, i.e. the same product exclusively made by AMJ Chemical Inc and marketed under a different name outside Europe.
